Last updated: June 13, 2025
1. Introduction
LaunchFamily Inc. (“LaunchFamily,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies (web cookies, localStorage, mobile SDKs) to operate, secure, and improve our parenting-support platform. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we place, and how you can control them. It forms part of our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
If you access the Service from a jurisdiction that requires explicit consent (e.g., the European Economic Area), we will present a cookie consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set.
2. What is a cookie?

Third-party SMS: Twilio sets ephemeral tokens in localStorage for real-time chat/SMS functionality. These expire when the session ends and are essential for message delivery.
5. How to control cookies
Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to delete or block cookies entirely. Doing so may break core site functionality.
In-product settings: Go to Settings → Privacy in the LaunchFamily app to toggle analytics and functional cookies, view cookies, or reset your analytics ID. This preference is stored in the launchfamily_privacy
cookie (essential).
Mobile apps: Use OS-level settings to reset tracking identifiers:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
- Android: Settings → Ads
6. Opt-out of third-party analytics
- Mixpanel: https://mixpanel.com/optout
- DataDog RUM: Respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting
- Segment: Follows your Mixpanel or in-app settings
7. Interest-based ads
LaunchFamily does not run interest-based advertising. If that changes:
- We will list all ad-tech cookies in Section 4 before any go live
- We will provide opt-out links via DAA and NAI frameworks
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If material changes occur, we will notify users by email or in-app 30 days in advance.
